Electric Light Orchestra Picture
Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) was a successful Birmingham, England rock music group of the 1970s and 1980s. They incorporated the sounds of string ensembles, vocoders and dub echos into rock songs, thereby creating a very sophisticated studio version of rock. The musical content of ELO songs often went far beyond usual chord structures, mixing pop songwriting with classical romanticism and synthesized sounds. Formed in 1970 by Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan (the remaining members of the 1960s rock group The Move). The band used cellos, violin, horns and woodwinds to give their music a classical sound.

Borderline Lyrics

Electric Light Orchestra

Take me to the heart of you,
Take me to the heart of you,
Take me, take me, take me, take me,
Take me to the heart of you.
Take me to your heart and then
Take me to your heart and then
Take me, take me, take me, take me,
Take me to your heart again.
Take me where the fields are green,
Take me where the fields are green,
Take me, take me, take me, take me,
Take me where the fields are green.
Take me to your heart somehow,
Take me to your heart somehow,
Take me, take me, take me, take me,
Take me cause I need you now.
Take me to cross your borderline,
Take me to cross your borderline,
Take me, take me, take me, take me,
Take me to cross your borderline.
Take me where I wanna be,
Take me from this misery,
Take me, take me, take me, take me,
Take me where I wanna be.
Take me to the heart of you,
Take me to the heart of you,
Take me to the heart of you,
The heart of you...
The heart of you...
